Effectively Resolving Workplace Conflict
June 17 @ 9:30 am - 12:45 pm
$495When conflicts aren’t addressed, they fester and grow. Unresolved conflict can also compound other harmful workplace behaviour like incivility, gossip and cliques. But with many people being naturally conflict-averse, proactive resolution requires both courage and skill. In this practical webinar for HR leaders and managers, we will explore:
– how conflict emerges
– individual conflict styles and a team’s conflict culture
– how to effectively lead challenging conversations to address conflicts productively
– the “interest-based relational” mediation model: a tried and tested method for resolving conflicts while preserving relationships
– conflict resolution skills: creating psychological safety, avoiding “blame” and “fault,” finding shared purpose, and addressing underlying interests
