Jane has more than thirty years of experience, both as a legal assistant and as an HR generalist. She helps keep things running smoothly. Jane is a natural “people person” and is an important part of the fabric of the firm.
Jane is currently studying towards her HR designation through Ryerson University.
An interesting tidbit
Jane loves to dance. When she was only five years old she started ballroom and Latin American dancing and competed until she was 12. It was a family affair. Her parents met while dancing and introduced the world of dance to their children. Jane is particularly fond of the magic of Latin American dancing.
Backstory
Originally from Scotland, Jane spent a summer in Toronto after finishing high school where she ended up working at a law firm assisting their articling students. She found the work so interesting that she continued working as a legal assistant for more than 20 years. Always interested in learning, Jane later started studying HR and began working with the human resources team at a large law firm, remaining in that role for seven years. Jane currently enjoys being able to apply her combined experience to her work at the firm.
