Hannah Tarr

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist

PhilosophyIn a word: Creative

When Hannah reflected on her philosophy, two quotes stood out.

The first is by Benjamin Franklin: “Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are”.

The second is by Adeyemi Taiwo Eunice: “Every day people go through unimaginable things. Treat everyone fairly”.

Hannah is committed to using her privileges to support and amplify the voices of those who need it. And she appreciates the importance of remaining without judgement of others, knowing that we each have different lived experiences and relationships to the world around us.

Toronto Metropolitan University student studying sociology with a specialization in diversity and equity studies. Premier, Ontario Youth Parliament 2020.

An interesting tidbit

Hannah can say the alphabet backwards in under 10 seconds.
